Licence Options
When you purchase a report, you need to select the licence option that best fits with your intended use of the content. The licence is a legal document that sets out what you can and can’t do with the report and its contents.
General Licence Conditions
As standard, we include a single user licence, which limits your rights to share the report with others, but other licences are available. The named user (or users) of the report will be held responsible for your company's compliance with the licence conditions.
No licence permits direct amendments or edits to the charts, tables or sections in the report. You may not remove or alter any source references or copyright notices confirming MRA Reports as the owner of the research material, or pass the data off as your own. No licence allows the user to resell or sublicence the research material or upload any part of its content to a public website or an AI platform.
As a rule, you may not publish any part of the research materials externally. The use or publication of individual charts or tables within annual report or corporate presentations may sometimes be permitted providing MRA Reports is referenced appropriately, but all such cases require prior permission from us.
Below is a summary of the licences we offer.
Single User Licence
The Single User Licence allows one named individual at a company to access and use the research material. It is normally the right choice if only one person within your business needs access to the research materials for internal reference or to inform strategy, sales forecasts or similar.
Sharing the full report is not allowed under any circumstances and users may not store the report file in a document library or on a server where it can be accessed by others. There are no exceptions. However, the user is allowed to share individual paragraphs and max two tables or charts from a report with internal colleagues, if referenced appropriately, for example in an internal company presentation.
The purchaser and the named user do not have to be the same person, but they must be from within the same trading company. This licence does not cover global teams or consultants sharing the research materials with clients.
Consultants Licence
The Consultants Licence allows one named individual at a consultancy firm to access, use and share the research material with up to 5 individuals at one client company. It is normally the right choice for consultants who need access to the data for the purposes of a specific project with a specific client, to inform strategy or M&A activity and may want to use a table or chart for a board presentation or similar.
Sharing the full report is not allowed under any circumstances and users may not store the report file in a document library or on a server where it can be accessed by others. There are no exceptions to this. If you wish to share the full report with
consultancy colleagues, you must purchase the Team Licence. The user is allowed to share individual paragraphs and max two tables or charts from a report with internal colleagues, if referenced appropriately.
Team Licence
The Team Licence allows up to 10 individuals at the same company to access and use the research material. It is normally the right choice if several people within your business or the wider team needs full access to the report data.
Our main contact at your company, or a nominated named Lead User, will be responsible for your company complying with the licence terms. Users may not store the report in a library or on a server with global access – the research materials must strictly be kept to the relevant user group. If the use exceeds the scope of the purchased licence, the Lead User must obtain an upgraded licence.
All users must be from within the same trading company. This licence does not cover global teams and multiple subsidiaries or group companies. However, the company holding the Team Licence may share up to two individual tables or charts with others as part of a power presentation or similar.
Group Wide Licence
The Group Wide Licence allows a team of individuals at different companies, within the same group of companies, to access and use the research material. It is normally the right choice if you are making decisions at group level and want to share the full report with subsidiaries or overseas group companies.
Our main contact at your company, or a nominated named Lead User, will be responsible for your company complying with the licence terms, and shall ensure that no research material is made available to any company outside of the group or any other third party, or published externally without prior permission from MRA Reports.
If you wish to share the report with a company that is not part of the group or a third party, you must ask the other company to purchase their own licence.
