Our publishing schedule includes a range of supply chain and distribution reports within the building materials and home improvement product sectors. All reports are produced by experienced researchers with an in-depth knowledge of the construction industry.

Who We Are

MRA Reports was set up in 2025 by Mike Rigby and Anna Eriksson. It aims to provide companies in the building materials supply chain, advisors and investors with a better understanding of the rapidly changing structure and dynamics of building product supply chains. Both directors have substantial experience and in-depth knowledge of the sector.

As well as heading up MRA Reports, Mike is MD of MRA Research, which set up and still runs the BMBI (Builders Merchant Building Index), and MRA Data. His career includes 10 years in marketing and research at a global paints brand, head of marketing at a national builder’s merchant and as marketing director of a national home improvement company.

Anna has worked with marketing strategy, market research & insight within the construction sector since 2003. She spent ten years working for a well-known market report publisher that specialises in the construction industry, and joined MRA in 2019. Anna has also held several strategic marketing roles and worked as a freelance writer.

Our team of interviewers, research analysts and report writers is small but productive. All reports are researched, written and edited by professional, experienced researchers with good knowledge of the UK construction industry and its distribution channels.

How We Do It.. And Why

Our main business is publishing market reports. But we are not a report factory! We only write about topics and markets we are familiar with, and we can guarantee that there is a real, professional and knowledgeable researcher behind every report. Our directors personally review every report that we publish.

Our reports also do not have a set template, it differs depending on the structure of and the challenges within each market being reviewed. However, the format is kept consistent year on year for each title, so that it is easy to see how the market is developing over time.
